Pecan drops

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 2 tsp
• butter - 1/2 c
• confectioners sugar - 1 c
• sifted cake flour
• plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
• pecans, chopped - 1 c

How to make pecan drops:

Chop pecans coarsely. Cream butter and shortening together. Beat in sugar. Stir in flour. Add vanilla and pecans. Mix well and drop by teaspoonful on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
