- sugar
- cinnamon
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 2/3 c
- flour - 3 c
- oil - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- grated lemon peel - 1/2 tsp
- to 3 pears, grated - 2 item
How to make pear bread:
Grate the 2 pears. Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add oil, sugar, lemon peel, vanilla and pears. Mix well. Sift together dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into 2 or 3 loaf pans and bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Quick breads.
