Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 2 Tbsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- powdered sugar
- plain flour - 3 c
- peanut butter
- white sugar - 2 c
- creamy peanut butter - 1/2 c
- Add eggs, one at a time
How to make peanut butter pound cake:
Mix together margarine, sugars and peanut butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda. Add to mixture; beat well. Add milk and vanilla. Bake in tube pan at 350° for 1 hour. Cool. Frost with Peanut Butter Frosting.Peanut Butter Frosting:1/4 stick margarine1 egg2 1/2 Tbsp. peanut butter1 1/2 c. powdered sugar2 Tbsp. evaporated milk1 tsp. vanilla Place the ingredients in a mixing bowl; beat until creamy.
