- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- peanut butter - 1/3 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- peanut butter smooth - 1/2 c
- eggs 1 at a time - 5 item
- Cake Mixture:2 sticks margarine, room temperature
- Blend in separate bowl the other dry ingredients
How to make peanut butter pound cake:
Cake Mixture:2 sticks margarine, room temperature2 c. white sugar1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. peanut butter (smooth)5 eggs (1 at a time) Mix cake mixture in large bowl. Blend in separate bowl the other dry ingredients. Add milk, alternating with flour mixture to cake mixture. After all is mixed, add vanilla and mix. Bake at 325° in floured and greased tube pan for 1 1/2 hours.Frosting:1/2 stick margarine2 eggs dash of salt1/3 c. peanut butter1 box powdered sugar Mix ingredients at low speed, then at high speed.
