Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 4 c
  • vanilla - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • cocoa - 5 Tbsp
  • peanut butter - 12 oz
  • dark Karo syrup - 2 Tbsp
  • large can Pet milk - 1 item
  • pecans or walnuts - 1 c

How to make peanut butter fudge:

Mix sugar, cocoa, milk, salt and syrup together. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook to a soft ball stage (about 8 minutes). Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, nuts and butter. Mix thoroughly. Pour onto a buttered platter until hard. Cut into pieces.
