Peanut butter drops
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- light brown sugar - 1 c
- sifted all-purpose flour
- chunky peanut butter - 3/4 c
- salted Spanish peanuts - 1 c
How to make peanut butter drops:
Preheat oven to 375°. Sift flour with soda, salt, ginger and cloves; set aside. In large bowl with wooden spoon or portable electric mixer at medium speed, beat shortening, peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and milk; beat until smooth. Stir in flour mixture and peanuts until thoroughly combined. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 1 minute before removing from cookie sheets. Remove from racks and let cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, Christmas.
