Peanut butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• baking soda - 2 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• all-purpose flour - 3 c
• dash of salt - 1 item
• peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream the shortening and sugar. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla; mix well. Add dry ingredients. Shape into balls; flatten slightly and crisscross with a fork. Bake at 375° for 7 to 8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.
