  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • peanut butter - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • sifted all-purpose flour

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream the shortening and peanut butter. Add sugars, eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients. Shape into balls and press with a fork. Bake at 400° for 6 minutes. Makes about 9 to 10 dozen.
