  • shortening - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • peanut butter - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream shortening with both cups of sugar. Add eggs. Cream in peanut butter and vanilla. Combine all dry ingredients and work with hands into the creamed mixture. Form desired size balls and press with a fork. Bake in a 350° oven for 10 to 16 minutes.
