  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • flour, sifted - 3 c
  • chunky peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream sugars and shortening. Beat in eggs; add peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet. Flatten and crisscross with wet fork. Bake at 325° for 10 minutes.
