brown sugar - 1/2 c
white sugar - 1/2 c
butter - 1/2 c
egg - 1 item
peanut butter - 1 c
salt - 1 tsp
soda - 1/2 tsp
flour
vanilla - 1/2 tsp

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Mix brown and white sugars together. Cream butter until soft. Add sugars gradually. Add egg, peanut butter, salt and soda. Beat until creamy. Sift flour before measuring; re-sift and add to batter. Mix well. Add vanilla. Roll dough into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and press down with fork. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Makes 60 medium size cookies.
