Peanut butter brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- extra crunchy peanut butter - 1/2 c
How to make peanut butter brownies:
Heat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, combine butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth.In a small bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Stir just until dry ingredients are moist. Stir in peanut butter. Pour batter into a greased 8 x 11-inch metal baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until set in center. Cool completely in pan. Cut in 2-inch squares to serve. Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
