Chocolate marshmallow slices
Ingredients/Components
- semi-sweet chocolate chips 12 oz - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- miniature marshmallows 10 1/2 oz - 6 c
- finely chopped nuts - 1 c
- additional chopped nuts - 1 item
How to make chocolate marshmallow slices:
In medium saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips and butter, stirring constantly, until blended. Remove from heat; cool 5 minutes. Stir in marshmallows and 1 cup nuts; do not melt marshmallows.On wax paper, shape mixture into 2 rolls, 2-inches in diameter. Wrap in foil; chill 15 minutes. Roll in additional chopped nuts. Wrap and chill overnight. Cut rolls into 1/4-inch slices. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place. Makes about 3 dozen slices.
