Peaches and cream dessert
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- large can sliced peaches - 1 item
- reserved peach juice - 3 Tbsp
- box vanilla pudding not instant!
How to make peaches and cream dessert:
Combine first 7 ingredients; beat 2 minutes with electric mixer. Pour into greased (bottom and sides) deep dish pie plate. Drain peaches well, reserving the liquid. Place peaches on top of batter.Combine cream cheese, sugar and juice. Beat for 2 minutes. Spoon over fruit within 1-inch of edge of batter. Combine 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
