Peaches and cream
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- softened margarine - 3 Tbsp
- vanilla pudding not instant - 1 pkg
- reserved peach juice - 3 Tbsp
- can sliced peaches reserve juice - 1 item
How to make peaches and cream:
Combine flour, milk, egg, margarine, pudding and baking powder. Mix together for 2 minutes on medium speed. Pour into a buttered 9-inch round pan or a 10-inch pie plate. Layer drained peach slices over the batter. Combine cream cheese, peach juice and 1/2 cup sugar. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed; pour over peaches and batter. Combine the cinnamon and 1 teaspoon sugar to make cinnamon sugar and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Side dish.
