Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- salt
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- egg whites - 2 item
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- peaches - 2 c
- milk or peach syrup - 1 c
How to make peach pudding:
Meringue:1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. vanilla2 tsp. water2 egg whites4 Tbsp. sugar Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Combine butter, flour, brown sugar, peach syrup or milk and lemon juice. Let this come to a boil. Stir beaten egg yolks and water into the mixture. Arrange peaches in a baking dish and pour hot mixture over them. Cover with meringue and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350°.Meringue: Beat egg whites and water until foamy. Beat in sugar and salt; beat until glossy and stiff. Stir in vanilla and salt.
