Ingredients/Components
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- onion, diced - 1/4 item
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- garlic clove - 1 item
- can crushed tomatoes - 16 oz
- cans sweet peas - 2 oz
- elbow pasta - 1 lb
How to make pasta and peas:
Saute garlic and onion in oil. Add tomatoes and oregano; cook 15 to 20 minutes. Boil pasta al dente; drain and add peas. Pour sauce over pasta and let stand for 5 minutes.This recipe may be used with cannellini beans or lentils.
