  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • butter flavor - 1 tsp

How to make party cookies:

Beat shortening and sugar in large bowl. Beat in flavor and eggs. Add dry ingredients to this mixture. Fold in candy. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. You can substitute red hots for the M&M's candy for a spicy and colorful cookie.
