Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- whipping cream - 1/2 c
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- Worcestershire - 1 tsp
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- oysters with juice - 1 pt
How to make oyster stew:
Heat milk and cream to just ready to boil, over low to medium heat. In small pan, put remaining ingredients, including oyster liquid. Cook until edges start to curl on oysters. Add to milk mix and serve immediately.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Stew.
