- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1/8 tsp
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- Worcestershire - 1 tsp
- toasted white or wheat bread - 1 item
How to make welsh rarebit:
About 20 minutes before serving, cook carrots and peas as label directs, but add celery; drain. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter; stir in flour until smooth, then stir in next 5 ingredients. Cook mixture, stirring constantly until thickened.
