Oven browned potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- cubed potatoes - 1 gal
- boiling water - 1 qt
- beef fat, melted or butter - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
How to make oven browned potatoes:
Wash and peel (or just scrub) potatoes; cut up into evenly sized pieces. Pour water over potatoes and cook only until water returns to boiling. Drain. Dip into melted beef or butter. Drain off excess drippings and put in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and paprika. Bake 45 minutes to an hour on 350° or until brown.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
