Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- cold water - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- cold milk - 1 c
- instant vanilla pudding - 1 pkg
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
- orange jello - 2 pkg
- lemon cake mix - 1 pkg
- envelope orange Kool-Aid - 1 item
How to make orange cream cake:
In mixing bowl, combine cake, drink mix, eggs, water and oil. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Using meat fork, poke holes in cake. Cool on wire rack for 30 minutes.Meanwhile in a bowl, dissolve one package jello in boiling water. Stir in cold water. Pour over cake. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. In a mixing bowl, combine milk, vanilla pudding mix and remaining jello. Let stand 5 minutes; fold in whipped topping. Frost cake and refrigerate.
