Ingredients/Components
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- mustard - 1 tsp
- horseradish - 2 Tbsp
- cans water - 2 item
- cans beef consomme - 2 item
- finely sliced onion - 1 c
- toast - 1 item
How to make onion soup:
Cook onion in butter until soft and yellow. Add the consomme, water, horseradish and mustard. Simmer 20 minutes. Serve with a thick slice of toast on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low cholesterol, Soups & stews.
