Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 5 item
- pepper - 1 tsp
- grated cheese - 1 c
- Accent - 1 tsp
- melted oleo - 1/2 c
- saltine crackers, crushed - 20 item
- large onions, sliced thin - 3 item
- milk with 1 chicken bouillon cube diluted in it - 2 c
How to make onion pie:
Mix crackers and oleo. Line a casserole dish for crust. Saute onions until clear. Spread over cracker crust. Mix beaten eggs, milk and seasonings together. Pour over onions. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until firm.Recipe categories: Main dish, Savory pies, Onions.
