Ingredients/Components
- chicken broth - 3/4 c
- yellow onion, sliced - 1 item
- red onion, sliced - 1 item
- to 6 green onions, sliced - 5 item
- Havarti cheese may use Swiss, grated - 4 c
How to make onion casserole:
Spray 13 x 9-inch pan with cooking spray. Layer half of onions; cover top with half of cheese. Repeat. Dot each layer with 3 tablespoons margarine. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour chicken broth over all and bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Side dish, Casseroles.
