Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- bread crumbs - 4 c
- chopped and peeled apples - 2 item
- milk, scalded with 1/4 c - 2 c
How to make old-fashioned bread pudding:
Heat oven to 350°. Put bread crumbs in 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Blend in remaining ingredients and stir. Place baking dish in pan of hot water, about 1-inch deep and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until knife inserted comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Very low carbs.
