Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- melted butter - 1/3 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 Tbsp
- chopped tomato - 2 c
- sliced okra
- dried basil leaves - 1/2 Tbsp
- slices cheese, cut in half to form triangles - 4 item
How to make okra casserole:
Saute onion and green pepper in margarine. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Mix well. Stir in tomato, okra and basil. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Healthy, Vegetables.
