Oatmeal scotchies
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- oats uncooked quick or old-fashioned - 3 c
How to make oatmeal scotchies:
Preheat oven to 375°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels. Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies, 9 to 10 minutes for crispier cookies. Makes about 4 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
