Oatmeal raisin cookies
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- raisins - 1 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- 2 sticks margarine or butter, softened - 1 c
- oats, uncooked - 3 c
How to make oatmeal raisin cookies:
Heat oven to 350°. Beat in together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well. Stir in oats and raisins. Mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
