Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- carton Cool Whip - 1/2 oz
- nuts pecans - 1 c
- instant chocolate pudding 4 serving size, prepared as directed - 1 pkg
How to make four layer chocolate pie:
Mix butter with flour. Add nuts. Bake in a 325° oven for 15 minutes. Set aside to cool.Mix softened cream cheese and confectioners sugar. Add 1/2 (13 ounce) carton Cool Whip. Mix thoroughly and spread on cooled crust.
Spread chocolate pudding on top of cream cheese.
Spread other half of Cool Whip on the chocolate pudding.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top for garnish (optional).
