- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- soft butter - 1 c
- rolled oats - 3 c
- white sugar - 1 c
How to make oatmeal cookies:
Beat first 5 ingredients together with a spoon or mixer. Add next 3 ingredients, then add oats and pecans. Drop on a greased cookie sheet, about a teaspoon for each cookie. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350°. Cool and store in a tin to keep them crisp.Combinations of coconut or chocolate bits in these cookies give variety.
