Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • molasses - 6 Tbsp
  • oatmeal - 2 c
  • soft oleo or butter - 1/2 c
  • raisins, cut in half - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Mix together oleo, molasses and sugar. Sift together flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Combine with molasses mixture. Stir in oatmeal, nuts and raisins. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400°.
