Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 6 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- Quaker oats
How to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies:
Preheat oven to 375°. Mix flour and baking soda; set aside. Beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour mixture. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well. Drop by tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie, 12 to 13 minutes for a crisp cookie.A similar recipe was submitted by Joyce Martin.
