  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • coconut
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • boiling water
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • oats quick - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cake:

Topping:1 c. coconut1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. milk4 Tbsp. butter1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix oats and boiling water. Let stand 20 minutes. Cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar and eggs. Add flour, vanilla, soda, cinnamon and salt. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Mix topping ingredients together, pour over cake while hot and brown under broiler.
