  • milk - 1/4 c
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • boiling water
  • nuts - 1 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • oatmeal uncooked - 1 c
  • cube oleo - 1 item
  • Cook 25 to 30 minutes at 350°

How to make oatmeal cake:

Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Cook 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.Frosting:1 cube oleo, melted1 c. coconut1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. nuts1/4 c. milk Mix together ingredients. Spread over cake when done and place under broiler until coconut browns.
