  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • baking powder - 4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • pecans - 1 c
  • sugar scant - 1 c

How to make nut bread:

Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together; add the sugar, then the egg, well beaten. Then add the milk and lastly, the nuts, rolled in flour. Give it 20 minutes to rise, then bake in a moderate oven, 350°, until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
