- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- sugar scant - 1 c
How to make nut bread:
Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together; add the sugar, then the egg, well beaten. Then add the milk and lastly, the nuts, rolled in flour. Give it 20 minutes to rise, then bake in a moderate oven, 350°, until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Quick breads.
