  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/4 c
  • soft butter - 1 Tbsp
  • pecans - 1/3 c
  • can pie cherries - 1 item
  • cinnamon candy red hots - 2 4

How to make cherry cinnamon cobbler:

Cinnamon Rounds:1 1/2 c. flour2 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt6 Tbsp. brown sugar1/4 c. shortening1 egg2 Tbsp. milk1 Tbsp. soft butter1/4 tsp. cinnamon1/3 c. pecans Combine sugar, candy, cornstarch, water and cherry juice in saucepan. Cook over medium heat. Cook until thick. Add cherries.

Mix flour with baking powder and salt. Add 3 tablespoons brown sugar and pecans. Cut in shortening until particles are fine. Combine milk and egg. Add to flour mixture; mix well until all is moistened. Add more milk, if necessary. Roll out on floured board, making a 14 x 12-inch rectangle. Brush with butter. Combine 3 tablespoons brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over dough. Roll up, starting at 12-inch side. Cut into 3/4-inch slices. Place on cherry filling. Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes. Glaze warm with lemon glaze. Combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
