  • sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • flavoring of choice - 1 item

How to make never fail meringue:

Mix cornstarch, sugar and water in a small saucepan. Cook until thick and clear (about 1 minute); stir while cooking. Beat egg whites until frothy; add salt and continue beating while slowly pouring cooled mixture over them. Add flavoring and continue to beat 5 minutes. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes.
