Mustard sauce
Ingredients/Components
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- egg yolk, beaten - 1 item
- sugar - 1/3 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
How to make mustard sauce:
Mix dry mustard and vinegar and let stand for 1 hour. Add beaten egg yolk and sugar. Cook over medium heat in saucepan until thick, stirring constantly. Cool and add mayonnaise. This will keep refrigerated for a long time.Use with steak, chicken cutlets, hard cheese and whatever else you can think of.
