Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- cheese - 1/2 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- can mushrooms optional - 4 oz
- tomatoes 1 lb - 2 c
- mostaccioli noodles, cooked - 8 oz
How to make mostaccioli:
Heat oven to 350°. Brown meat, add green peppers, mushrooms and onions. Cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings. In a 2-quart casserole, layer half the cooked noodles, meat sauce and cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
