Mock apple pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• water
• lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
• crackers, crumbled Ritz or white - 14 item
• or 2 shakes cinnamon and butter - 1 item

How to make mock apple pie:

Combine water and sugar, along with the lemon juice. Have water just hot enough to dissolve sugar. Add lemon juice. Crush crackers and add to mixture, letting stand a few minutes. You may, at this point, want to add a few more crackers. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter. Preheat oven to 400°; bake 40 minutes. You may use NutraSweet (same exchange).
