Mocha sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- whipping cream - 1 c
- powdered instant coffee - 1 tsp
How to make mocha sauce:
In small saucepan, over low heat, melt butter. Stir in sugar, whipping cream and cocoa. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in instant coffee and vanilla. Serve warm or cool. Cover. Refrigerate leftover sauce. Yields 2 cups sauce.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
