  • sticks oleo - 2 item
  • Add eggs and beat by hand

How to make mississippi mud cake:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat by hand. Sift flour, cocoa and salt. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan. Bake at 300° for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven; pour on marshmallows and return to 350° oven for 10 minutes.Frosting:1 lb. powdered sugar1/3 c. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla1/3 c. milk1 c. nuts2 sticks oleo Mix well. Will be fairly soft but will set up. Cut in small pieces.
