Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 1 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
- slices white bread - 8 item
- butter soft - 2 Tbsp
- envelope Lipton onion soup mix - 1 item
- slices Fontina/Swiss cheese - 4 item
How to make mini monte cristo sandwiches:
Blend 2 tablespoons butter and mustard; evenly spread on bread. Top with cheese, ham and remaining bread (buttered side down). Cut each into 4 triangles. Beat eggs, milk and soup mix. Dip sandwiches in egg mixture. Coat well. Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet. Cook sandwiches until golden.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, < 15 mins, Appetizers.
