  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • sifted flour
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • white sugar
  • mincemeat

How to make mincemeat cookies:

Sift flour, salt and soda together. Cream shortening, adding sugar and eggs gradually until smooth. Stir in mincemeat and add flour gradually. Drop on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
