Chocolate bit cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 6 item
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• salt - 2 tsp
• brown sugar - 2 c
• soda - 4 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• sifted flour - 7 c
• margarine - 1 c
• cream of tartar - 4 tsp
• white sugar - 1 c
• chocolate bits - 1 pkg
• chopped nuts if you wish - 1 item

How to make chocolate bit cookies:

Cream the sugar, oleo and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Add dry ingredients, mixing well. Add chocolate bits and nuts. Drop onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
