Microwave caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- popped corn - 4 qt
- white Karo syrup - 1/4 c
- peanuts if desired - 1 item
How to make microwave caramel corn:
Place 4 cups of popped corn in a double brown bag (grocery bag).In a large microwave-safe bowl, put butter, Karo and brown sugar. Microwave on High for 2 1/2 minutes; stir. Microwave on High for 2 1/2 minutes. Stir in soda, vanilla and salt. Add nuts, if desired. Stir well.
Add syrup to bagged corn. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High. Stir. Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir. Enjoy!
