Microwave caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- oleo - 1/2 c
- corn syrup - 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- peanuts and pecans - 1 item
- baking soda, add later - 1/2 tsp
- large bowl popped corn - 1 item
How to make microwave caramel corn:
Combine all ingredients except soda. Bring to a boil, cook 2 1/2 minutes longer. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Stir well and remove from heat. Pour over popped corn in a paper grocery bag that has been sprayed with Pam. Shake really well. Cook 2 1/2 minutes in microwave on High, stirring after 1 minute. Add nuts and shake well.
