Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
How to make mexican wedding cakes:
Cream butter. Add powdered sugar gradually. Cream well until smooth. Add flour, salt and vanilla. Blend; mixture is stiff. Pinch off small pieces of dough (about 3/4 inch). Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400° about 12 minutes. Roll cookies in powdered sugar immediately after removing from oven.
