Ingredients/Components
- cornmeal - 1 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- 303 can cream-style corn
- oil - 1/2 c
- or 4 jalapeno peppers - 3 item
- large onion - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- hamburger - 1 lb
How to make mexican cornbread:
Brown hamburger and drain; pour 1/2 of batter in pan. Sprinkle the hamburger, pepper, onion and cheese, then remainder of batter and bake in 350° oven until brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
